The Supporters' Direct Initiative is backed by the Football Trust. Its aims include giving supporters a say in the running of their football clubs.

The attached leaflet will be distributed at Walsall's game with Tranmere Rovers tomorrow and again at their home match with Barnsley on 1 April. This latter date will coincide with the official launch of the Supporters' Direct initiative on a national scale. Around 2,000 leaflets will be handed out to Walsall fans in an attempt to develop and gauge interest in the forming of a Walsall Supporters' Trust.

This initiative is independent of the Club, the Saddlers' Club and the Independent Saddlers' Supporters Association. It is hoped that the response will be good and that a launch meeting involving the central Supporters' Direct team will take place towards the end of April.
