Trust to Question Board Over Debt
The Walsall Supporters'
Trust has submitted a series of questions for clarification to the forthcoming
AGM of Walsall FC. These questions focus upon the funding of the proposed new
stand at Bescot Stadium, and the Board’s plans for turning around the £1
million debt.
Trust Chair Richard Hall
hopes that the issues raised will be seen by the club in a positive light. He
noted that “the financial management of Walsall FC Ltd. has maintained an
operating profit for some time and the Board have been rightly congratulated
for that. However, the news of the debt was a shock to many supporters and its
management will be of major interest to them.”
In line with the Board’s
focus upon maintaining the financial stability of the club, these questions are
intended to help supporters to understand the actions of the Directors.
