New fanzine

Richard informed the meeting that the Trust had been given a regular column in the new fanzine, and expressed regret that yet again the club had missed an opportunity to build bridges with the fans by refusing permission for it to be sold on club ground’s, members were invited to contribute articles.The columns in the Sporting star and the Walsall Observer were also still running this season.

Finances / Membership

D.Roe reported that the membership was stable but that revenue was extremely low and that fund raising ideas were required.

The suggestions of direct debit for the membership was discussed and the further investigation of a possible “Meet the Manager” evening was approved, this to be done in conjunction with the Saddlers club.

It was also agreed to look at revamping the web site and to enable visitors to join on line via the web site using Direct Debit, Neil agreed to look into the possible cost implications.

PS reported that there had been a low take up on the prediction league only about 20 had sent their forms in.

WFC AGM

All attendees were requested to suggest questions to be raised at the club AGM believed to be due in November, the members expressed their dismay that the club refused to give their answers in writing last year, and everyone was advised that Richard needed the questions by 14^th October 2006.
